    Revenue Analytics assists global organizations in bringing science and discipline to decisions that impact revenue. We work with clients to develop and refine their Revenue Management capabilities, thus improving decisions related to pricing, discounting, promotions and inventory allocation.

    Our typical client sees a revenue gain of 2-7% with virtually no increase in cost. Our principals have successfully facilitated more than 100 previous clients uncovering over $10 billion in additional revenues.

    As a member of the Revenue Analytics Team, you will be part of a dynamic, growth organization dedicated to helping our clients optimize the price and availability of their products.  The Operations Research Consultant will perform Revenue Management analytics for our client delivery projects, as well as support sales efforts, grow our internal knowledge base, and contribute to research and other internal initiatives.  

     

    Responsibilities

    • Perform high quality, sophisticated analysis in support of client engagements and internal projects
    • Develop analytical requirements for solution design
    • Build mathematical algorithms and models
    • Analyze large data sets
    • Apply multi-variable, complex statistical analysis
    • Present analysis, models and insights to clients and internal groups
    • Contribute to the knowledge capital of Revenue Analytics by writing white papers, case studies, and giving internal presentations on your work
    • Produce high quality client deliverables 

     

    Requirements 

    • Ph.D. or Master’s in Operations Research, Econometrics, or other applied mathematical discipline
    • 3 years of relevant industry experience
    • Expertise in two or more of the following areas:  Math programming, probability, statistics, forecasting, artificial intelligence or other heuristics
    • Ability to structure and analyze large data sets
    • Expert programmer in at least 2 structured/object oriented languages or 4GL programming languages including one or more of the following:  R, SAS, CPLEX, C++, Java, SQL, k-shell, or PERL
    • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word, and Power Point
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%

    Senior Consultant, Operations Research

    As a member of the Revenue Analytics Team, you will be part of a dynamic, growth organization dedicated to helping our clients optimize the price and availability of their products.  The Senior Operations Research Consultant will perform Revenue Management analytics for our client delivery projects, as well as support sales efforts, grow our internal knowledge base, and contribute on research and other internal initiatives.  The Senior Operations Research Consultant will also supervise OR Consultants and OR Analysts.   


    Responsibilities

    • Lead teams of OR Analysts, OR Consultants and OR Interns to achieve project goals
    • Apply multi-variable, complex statistical analysis on large data sets to gain useful insights into the data, detect trends and outliers/invalid data conditions present in the data sets
    • Build mathematical algorithms and models that provide an analytical framework to analyzing business problems
    • Perform high quality, sophisticated analysis in support of client engagements and internal projects
    • Produce high quality client deliverables such as design documents, analysis summaries and presentations
    • Present analysis, models and insights to clients and internal groups
    • Contribute to the knowledge capital of Revenue Analytics by writing white papers, journal articles, case studies, and giving internal presentations on your work
    • Update the team leader, chief scientist, project team and senior management team regarding the project status, developments and issues 
    • Attend seminars and conferences, develop working knowledge of new models and solution techniques which could be leveraged on projects
    • Devise modeling and measuring techniques; utilize mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques to estimate benefits from using analytical models
    • Participate in client meetings and translate business problems faced by customers into analytic requirements for solution design


    Requirements 

    • Requires a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Operations Research, Economics, Engineering or another applied mathematics discipline 
    • 2 years of relevant experience applying research to revenue or yield management issues 
    • Must also have 2 years of experience:
    • solving business problems using stochastic, heuristic or deterministic methodologies: using R, SAS, CPLEX or SQL analytical tools
    • leading analytic modeling for client engagements
    • leading operations research analysts and consultants on client engagements
    • presenting complex analytic models to clients

    • Design and create multiple data stores for client data
    • Participate in all aspects of data management and modeling on our client delivery projects
    • Responsible for following established best practices for data modeling within information areas across the enterprise, including data cleansing, data quality and data consolidation using industry standard data modeling methods and processes
    • Follow established data warehouse naming standards, policies and procedures for the creation of databases and data models


    Requirements

    • Master’s in an information sciences or engineering field
    • Experience in database engineering and data modeling via internships or consulting
    • Fluency in a 4G language such as Java, C++, or C#/.net
